A approach into the world of the melodic-lofi house is the new EP by producer Javier Otero a.k.a. Maefield. Loaded with harsh organic atmospheres, this new work includes two different mixes and an edit in which the virtuoso pianist Javier Vila collaborates. A project recorded in the summer 2020, worked up along months and now out in the summer 2021. The first two cuts are focused on a strong bass line and low fidelity cutoffs. Loaded with the cardiac power of house, the spirited frost of synths and wild vocal textures, they have the ability to take you from your room to the dancefloor passing by a whole sea of emotions. In the last song, the producer unleashes the improvised madness of jazz by Javier Vila's piano. The eclectic disco and funk rhythms create a completely different reinterpretation of the original theme: a cheerful pill of dance music straight to the legs.
